Jada Jordan

Mother/Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant/Entrepreneur

I am the founder and president of Transitioning Queens, Inc. which is a nonprofit organization in Jacksonville, Florida. I have always had a passion for helping people; my desire was to be a missionary when I was a child. Recent life events lead to the manifestation of Transitioning Queens and the opportunity to bring the desire to help others to fruition. Transitioning Queens Inc. was created in 2019 just months before my daughter and myself became homeless. This organization will allow mothers the opportunity to leave toxic relationships and start fresh. Even though I went to school to become a physical therapist assistant, being a mother and the founder of this organization has brought great fulfillment. Acquiring large amounts of money is not my motivation. Obtaining healthy and genuine relationships is what is valuable to me. Outside of the professional and mother role, I enjoy weightlifting, watching movies, and riding my motorcycle.

Jodi Watkins

Mother/Author/Wellness Coach

My name is Jodi Watkins. I grew up in a small town called Fernandina Beach, just north of Jacksonville, Florida. I began my health journey after my third knee surgery and a couple years after having my daughter and watching my mom suffer due to carelessness and toxicity in her life. I wanted to change the course of my own life by doing whatever I had to do to be a better mom, wife, and person. I served 15 years in the United States Air Force, and during that time I developed my passion for helping others.
For years, I persevered. I accomplished a lot, but I dwelled more on what I did not have and what I failed at in the past. I did not allow myself to be happy. I had to dig deep and truly develop a mindset of self-love and self-worth. I was in the best shape of my life and “looked” healthy, but my beliefs would not allow me to be fulfilled. I had to change the way I viewed failures and how I viewed myself. And realize the failures were vital aspects of my life and that others’ opinions of me did not define me. Everything set me up for where I am now.
The situations that happened to me, happened for me. Growing up around violence, sex, drugs, and poverty taught me so much about life. Though it has taken me some time to truly figure that out, I am grateful to have reached this level of understanding. This is now fuel to help other adults and younger generations who may be going through similar situations or allowing their past to limit their futures.
Through life experiences and knowledge acquired along the way, my purpose has been revealed. I now know I am EXACTLY where God wants me to be. It is time to use ALL the “stuff” that once held me back to help others become limitless.
I am a mom on a mission to empower other moms and people around the world to become the best possible version of themselves. We are truly limitless once we move out of our own way. It all starts with the mind.
